Welcome to Tinamou Tollers
Tinamou is a very small kennel that has actively trained & exhibited Duck Tolling Retrievers since 1994, although we just whelped our first litter in spring 2005. Our dogs are always owner trained & handled in all venues. We have the most fun & get the greatest fulfillment from the working partnerships we develop with our dogs. FIELD WORK
Our primary focus has always been field work. Our first field dog was our Labrador Jade, but we have since become active with Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers and now have 4 redheads in our household.
VERSATILITY
The Toller appealed to us because of its versatility & ability to excel in a wide variety of arenas. We continue to focus primarily on field work, but we are active in the conformation & obedience rings as well.
